Lighting Projects was established in 2009, based in Pinetown, Kwa Zulu Natal, to service the South African Lighting Industry. Our main focus is to work hand in hand with Electrical Consulting Engineers, Architects, Electrical Contractors and Customers to provide the correct lighting solutions and specifications, and long term sustainability and savings for the end user.

 

We call on both ours and our suppliers extensive knowledge and experience, design capabilities, product knowledge, latest technical testing and information, and our customer’s insight to achieve an effective solution for our customers, on every project. To this date, we have never lost a single customer, and keep on growing every year with more and more successful projects on our repertoire.

 

We operate from our own premises in Pinetown , from where we receive and dispatch our products throughout South Africa and, in more recent years, other parts of Africa. We also have dedicated assembly plants which manufacture and assemble light fittings for us in Amanzintoti and Johannesburg, all to our exacting and approved standards. All of our products are assembled and wired to the highest standards and are regularly tested and approved by the SABS ( local electrical authority ) for electrical safety, compliance and operation.

 

Currently we are involved in numerous projects throughout South Africa, Seychelles, Ruanda, and North Africa. We are fortunate to be the preferred suppliers for many large companies and consultants, involved in lighting design and supply to the industrial, retail, commercial, urban, residential and municipal sectors. We are also currently involved in many energy saving projects, and are one of the few lighting companies, who besides supplying and manufacturing their own solutions, we also get involved in the software design and simulation, including advanced computer controlled lighting systems and dimming installations.
